By accessing or using Instructionly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Instructionly is a platform that connects your coding standards and guidelines to AI-powered IDEs via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). These terms govern your use of the web application, CLI tools, and related services.

2. Description of Service

Instructionly provides:

  • A web application for managing workspaces, skills, and coding instructions
  • An MCP server that delivers instructions to compatible AI-powered IDEs
  • CLI tools for connecting your development environment to the platform
  • Team collaboration features for sharing coding standards

3. Account Registration

To use Instructionly, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Credit System and Payments

Instructionly uses a credit-based system for accessing instructions:

  • Credits are consumed when your IDE requests instructions via the MCP protocol
  • Credit packages are available for purchase through our platform
  • Credits are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Unused credits do not expire as long as your account remains active

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Instructionly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your content (skills, instructions, and guidelines) remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and deliver your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • Any remaining credits will be forfeited

You may cancel your account at any time through the application settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The instructions delivered through the Service are intended as guidelines and should not replace professional judgment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instructionly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
